if your pbass is not eating the guppies...it's fine. just make sure you see your pbass eat from time to time. along as your bass is eatting you'll be fine....now, if it doesn't eat and you still see the same amount of guppies you put in there, then feed it dried blood worms, (that worked for me). give it time it's still new to your tank.

how long have you had PBass, are they still stressed from the LFS?
do you have enough hiding spots and natural looking structure for the fish?
also you said, "this guy", is he all alone, many people think PBass are a shoaling fish, maybe add a group of giant danios if the aquaiums biology will support them, they will eventually become food.
