This is just WRONG.

We have a local edition of a forum called freecycle, a fantastic thing. (check your area)

But some of the people on it..."freecycle_sarasota] Wanted: any size aquarium to hold butterflies".

This is just wrong on so many levels.

It's taking ALL my control not to reply...How about a little moral support, huh?

Anything that can hold water should be used to hold fish. Not butterflies:)

Why dont they just use fine mesh netting?
 
Wait, Dr Joe. "Butterflies"??? People in Sarasota want Tanks to hold the insect: Butterflies?!?! Why not build a square frame out of 2by4 and then screen it with a staple gun? How hard can that be!

They must be Jedi! :screwy:

A quail in a tank? LoL! Did it make for a good pet? I see them every now and then at the local feed store. They sell them for $20.00 and look very Cute.

Just when I was imagining little scuba gear for them, he said no water...:ROFL:

Here's a hint, chicken wire and zip ties (tie wraps)...you can make most cages and traps with them for fish or fowl.

Fold the wire and you don't even need a frame for a few birds.

Quail are cool. and tiny...all feathers. :D
