The Governor just slash State employee wages to federal minimum wages and laid off over 2000 part-time employees. Federal minimum is $6.55 and State minimum is $8.00
This isn't going to help his re-election.

Or maybe at least realize that if his state doesn't have the money to pay bills then he didn't perform at his job of overseeing the state, and gets a FAIL on his report card.

That really sucks, $6.55 here is nothing. Not too mention in cali where everything is more expensive and people who are used to making a decent salary now work for $6.55.

Meh, we have to follow federal minimum too. Get a job in a field that makes more than minimum wage. The only people making minimum wage around here are in food service, or work at a LFS (like me, but even there I make $7...).
