thats a cruel thing to do because the bowl isnt even full. it has the wrong substrate. gold fish are not native to snail shells. they do best if they have land area to bask. which i dont see.

With a bowl like that it is best to not fill it all the way. It provides more surface area for oxygen exchange. But I don't any fish should be kept in a bowl.
