Good point Eddie but I guess if I was as versed in Greek mythology and knew the backstory of some of those people as Delhezi claims to be then I would probably feel a similar way.I'm just a little bummed because my co worker gave me bad info in telling me that it was a prequel when in fact it is not.

i've heard of this before. looks good, i'd watch it
maybe someone can fill me in on the details of the immortals
in 300, they were bad guys no? so in this movie, they seem to be the good guys. so what's going on with that?

i knew a lil about the battle of Thermopylae so i was disappointed with all the fictional crap thrown into 300.....was still a good watch though as it was visually pleasing and made for interesting conversations as people started researching history to find out what it was all about
That's what had me confused when my co worker told me about it but someone here already said that this film has nothing to do with 300 so the name is no big deal.
i thought they were doing with the immortals kind of like what they did with the mummy part 2 where the scorpion king was a popular character and they created a whole pre-mummy movie where the scorpion king used to be a good guy
look at it as the same as The mummy movies and the scorpion king movie

Maybe I just care a little more about the storyline than most people, idk. To me, this movie is the equivalent of someone making a movie where Frodo and Harry Potter are at war, it just doesn't make sense. It's not really that big of a deal, I've never seen a movie that got all the mythology even close to right, so I don't really expect one to come out anytime soon. Like I said, I'll probably still see the movie. Looks entertaining, even with the screwed up plot.
It's not the same people, the immortals in this movie are the titans.
