Very nice. Do you have him then Richard? I thought you were getting out of the hobby??

I was going to sell everything but I talked the wife into taking care of the big tank for a bit

I have a 4x2 setup in my bedroom as I will be stuck in bed for a few months and won't be able to get to the main tank

I got a pearl of pearls so I could still get my ray fix

Pearls are such good value and when they out grow the 4x2 I will dump them in the main tank

I want a pair of each p14 bd and pearl

After my male p14 died I decided it's not a good idea to have all your eggs in one basket with just one male

Fair comment Richard. I too worry about losing the only male in the tank and then having to find another the same size as the females but was never sure if i could mix more than 2 males in one tank. Like the way you keep the ray addiction going even though you are not fully fit, fair play to you and best of luck for a full recovery.

lovely looking ray t1 congrats.

i have a marble that has two belly marks like that too.

if his spots stay like that when hes older he will be stunning. :-)

I wasn't wrong with the title of this thread......he is turning into one very special Pearl ray.

This is the real magic regarding Pearl rays, you never really know what the final product is until you have kept them for 7 or 8 years, mine are still changing all the time albeit very slowly.

Very proud of this little fella!

Keep the updates coming T1
