Cons and guppies breed like rabbits

Guppies or other live breeders
 
I quarantine all my feeders for weeks. I wait until they are nice and fat lol. You can tell right when you bring new ones home they look all sickly and scrawny. So for now I think I will try my hand at breeding cons. Are there any cichlid species that get like 12" that are also easy to breed? How are jack dempseys?

Breeding is easy, having several tanks to grow out diffent clutches of fry to usable(feeder size) is the pain.I would search craigslist and even post your own add looking for those getting rid of fish.
 
kenyi cichlids breed really quickly as well but only get to the 5" mark. had mine for 6 months and had 7 clutches of eggs in that time.

Dempseys are slow growers and only top out around 10". I wouldn't suggest using them.
