Being from NY and having know many people who died on 9/11, we were all for ridding the world of terrorists and tyrants then and now people forget and want to change there mind. Well to late we all voted us into a war and now you can't just walk away and run. All these democrats who voted for war and now wants to run and hide. Sorry things dont work that way in the real world.

I'm not saying I don't care about 9/11, terrorists, tyrants, etc.. I'm not anti-war either. Do I think it could have been run more effectively so that we'd be further along in iraq and making progress? probably.. It's sad to think of all the soliders fighting a war which seems to have no end and yet the issue falls to the wayside everyday until the next progress report comes up. Even to mention the tons of iraqi people who are innocent but were killed or maimed in the name of freedom. We have a major deficit, not enough military money, etc..

War aside Bush/Cheney and everyone who works immediately under them are turncoats. It's not just the war that makes me say that.

Didn't even read the whole thread because I know where it went.

What does congress potentially passing a law that retroactively pardons bush and his administration from being tried for abuse of detainees have to do with whether we stay in iraq, don't stay, should have gone in the first place or your political party?

The bottom line is that no president, whether republican, democrat or neither, should be trying to push laws through congress that retroactively pardon themselves for their mistakes. If passed, members of congress should also be held accountable for either not fully understanding what they've voted for or supporting such a ridiculous measure.

Its basically them realizing how badly they messed up and trying to cobver there asses!!!

Cheney Enron did anyone forget about that too? But hes good enough for bush in my opinion that says alot about his character by the type of people he surrounds himself with.

enough mumbo-jumbo. daddy couldn't finish so son gets himself into a hole he'll never be able to crawl out of. it's oil and power and aliances all leading to a single world power.

someone's gotta control this rock right?

Bill of Rights
Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

some how this has been misconstruded as a seperation clause. if you read it, it only says that the Govt shall not establish a religion.... nothing about sepreation !!!

Last time I checked the Clinton admin (male clinton) was one of the more successful ones. And I look forward to seeing either Hils or Obama guide us out of this chaotic cluster *** of problems that good ole boy Bush has thrown us in. Its all about getting the reputation we had before back and getting the recognition as one of the world leaders in all aspects of humanity that has been thrown into the fan by the Bush admin. Thanks Bush here is a big thumbs up to you for making us all americans seem to the whole world that we just sit on our thumbs and read at a third grade level! Admin:thumbsup:

Well put...... now lets get all those ignorant geezers out of the house and put some fresh minds in there that arent still dwelling on the civil war and supremacy of one race/sex over another!
