Yeah now one of my orinos is bein wierd stressing out and hiding which never did this until this morning when the kel passes. I hope it's not parasites with any luck it's just confused that the kel was gone cause its like hiding in the kels spot if that makes any sense

Sounds more like it's confused to me. Some fish don't adapt well to changes. God forbid I move a grain of sand in my Datnoid tank.

Yeah I think and hope that's all that's bugging them. It's kinda sad :(. It's ok though when I get back from my fishing trip in a few weeks ill be getting something to take its place. I'm on a budget so I should have about 100 bucks to play with. Including shipping. Maybe a few more Os I dont know. There so nice looking. I'd love a pre pellet trained fish To be honest.

I find azuls and orino's to be the easiest to pellet train.
Kelberi have been the hardest for me.
I find it helps immensely if you never feed them live feeders.
If you have to go the live route do live black worms/tubifex worms.
Then start w/ the bw mixture method.

Yeah that kelberi was a pain!!! Problem was it was only fed live until I got it along with being wild was a challenge. The wild Os just ate pellets without much of a challenge. Maybe ill replace with an azul if I can afford it lol... Or maybe just a couple more Os I'm not sure yet... I don't think I have enough experience for them kels yet.

So everything has pretty much gone downhill sense the kel died. Both my Os havnt ate much food sticks sense then. One of them is darker and stressed out as ever. They used to both be on top begging for food whenever I got close not any more. It's a shame. I hope they'll get over this loss soon. I wonder if the meds in the tank have anything to do with it also

Nah, not the meds. I've never noticed a change in any of my fish when using prazi, that includes peacock bass, dats and catfish. They're probably just a little "lost" because the missing kel and bass are better in groups of 3 + anyway.
