If you taught kids to not do what they don't like....a very large percent would no longer study, do homework or possibly even go to school.
Sometimes you really make a valid point.. when i first watched this video i thought the same thing.. but then i realized .. if is after the education of high school etc that he is talking about.. everyone needs the foundation of a good primary education.. but some people are not college material.. and actually hate it... if you have a dream of doing something you enjoy even if it does not pay alot of money .. he is just saying to persue that goal and become a master of that skill because you enjoy doing it.....and what better way in life then to work at something you really love doing.. i shug at the thought of a doctor doing an operation that inside his gut he actually hates his job.. but he was driven to be a doctor because of the money........
That is all well and good, but who pays the bills? In the US there are over 47 million people on public assistance. The workers are the ones footing the bill. Is this fair?

I find this so funny how this argument always pops up. Just cause people live on public assistance doesn't make them any different from anyone else. Not everyone is blessed enough to have a good education and financial situation.
Ill use myself as an example. I ve working since I was 13. Paid taxes all my life. Now I'm 21 and recently lost my job and public assistance is all the income I have until I find another job. If I didn't have public assistance I would have been evicted from my home without hesitation And would be living on the street with my 11 month old son and wife. Is that fair?
