Currently reaching hmmmmm as long as a 600ml Coke Bottle. So how long would that be?

Nearly lost this guy as I went on an overseas trip. My uncle was going to come once a week to feed him, but was scared of my German Shephard dog. So ended up for a whole month, he had no food...

Before my trip this guy knew me well, would always go on top of the tank while I feed him and eat of my hand. But now, he gets scared of me and wouldn't come to the top of the tank like he used to... I'll be buying some bloodworms sooner or later to tempt him to eat from my hand again or some live feeders which he goes crazy over...

Cool looking fish. Would you happen to know what he's a hybrid of? I would definitely say he's part Parachromis Managuensis.
 
Sorry I don't know... Bought him from a lfs and the fish were labelled as Jaguar Cichlids.... They have the body for it, but as I grew this one, well.... He turned out as what you see in the photos....
 
he looks amazing. im sure it will go back to its normal ways just give it time.
 
no worries...I'm sure he'll get back to his norm. Still looks nice and chunky. Looks like a flowerhorn crossed with a some sort of parachromis like a jaguar or RTM.
