Actually they are illegal to possess alive. They are not native to the region and consume the native species. They don't sell anything with teeth in the aquarium stores. They sell toothless versions of vicious fish.(Snakehead look-alikes, Garrs, Pirahnas,etc.) If you catch them you're supposed to kill them, then eat them if you wish.
