Hey all, I have been getting around to doing another TUIC order and noticed this relatively nice fish (Thorichthys Pasiones). I was just wondering if anybody knows any info on them, I searched but didnt find much. I'm looking foe general info on there size, agression, etc... any info would be appreciated.

pretty much relatively same as firemouths

T Pasiones are great fish and are the largest of the Thorichthys group. Same temp. as the Aureus in my opinion and shouldn't be kept with any super aggressive cichlids. I'd keep them with some Archocentrus like Sajica, Myrnae etc. I had 1 a few years ago and lost him at a relatively young age. I'd jump on that fish and I'd get some myself but i just recently placed an order with Rapps so i really shouldn't do another. Post some pics and good luck. They get a yellowish color. Really nice fish.

Really old, but I still thought I would give you an example of my pair when I had them. Probably my all time FAV. of the Thorichthys!! Just gorgeous fish!! The yellows are intense in person!! Plus, when they got in the 'mood' they would get BLACK on the edges of their fins and their throats would turn black. SUPER contrast against the yellow. Highly recommend anyone to get some! :D

I know, I really do miss them now. They were great fish for sure. The ones I had actually came from Rapps too! LoL! At the same size. They are relatively slow growers though, so make it 6 months.

Thats great you were able to find some though man! They are totally awesome fish for sure!

:( I have found that thorichthys grow slow, bar my F1 meeki, there growing rapidly.

Was complete luck me getting them, a mate decided to do a order so i was able to get in on the order. My wild pold saums didnt come though:(

Quite uncommon round here in the UK.

You should do a order from rapps and get some, not a bad price $7.50!

Any chance you locating the pair and buy them back?

They are great fish for sure!! I definitely want some more, they are gorgeous. When they start getting moody and get that black on them, they make your jaw drop how great they look. Seriously my fav. of the Thorichthys. Definitely jealous you are getting some.

I am tempted to get some more, as I absolutely loved mine. I don't know though. . .I may think about it. Trying to talk the LFS into start ordering from Rapps and the like...so its a possibility I suppose. :)
