Thorichthys Pasiones

Good luck trying to get your LFS to order some, round here no one has herd of jeff rapps or other thorichthys bar the macculipinnis. Their poor quality too, thats why i have a F1 pair waiting at another friends house :)

Looking foward to see them in their fighting/breeding dress, i like the black on them.

What other thorichthys have you kept?
 
I've only personally kept meeki, pasiones, and sp. 'Mixteco blue' . I've seen a good bit of the other species in person though. By far the pasiones were my fav though, better personality, better colors, and better fins. Just all around best looking Thorichthys.

Have you seen them when they have the black breeding dress/aggression? Man its hott! Love it!

Start the wee little ones in a 30gal. I tried starting them in a 55gal and they just got lost in there. When they are about 2" then its safe to move them...lol. Rapps sure does sell them small. You could see through the ones I got....thats how small they were. Best of luck!
 
Nice picked the best out of the thorichthys, i keep:
-Tho.meeki+meeki F1
-Tho.macculipinnis
-2 pairs of Tho.mixteco blue
-waiting for me: Pair of tho.helleri, Pair of F1 Tho.macculipinnis, Tho.pasiones, maybe mixteco gold(not sure) and when the conkel order comes in a pair of Wild Tho.sp 'Lago de Illusiones, Mexico' :)

Really though, you should get some, its the first time ive seen them at rapps.
You miss them so replace them!!!
