so what do yall think about those little trumpet snail that infest your tank and cling to the side good or bad talk to me.

They keep the detritus broken up. They for the most part stay under the substrate during the day, or when the lights are on. They have a really cool shell, and stay quite small.
I have them in all of my tanks, and love them.
MTS stand acidic water quite well.ThePBM;955099;955099 said:will they absolutely die in acidic water? or will their shells just be frail?
Not at all. Perfect for planted tanks, which is why they are in every tank I own. 6 of my 7 have plants.dark_knights_99;955659;955659 said:Do trumpets destroy water plants?
Mine don't eat dead plant matter. They will graze algae off of it, but seldom do anything to the plants themselves.ThePBM;955699;955699 said:my understanding is that they don't eat any live plants. they do eat dead leaves and dead root parts though.
