Did anyone notice the small "waterfall" to the far left? I bet the water is being pumped from the top of the tank to that waterfall. Maybe. I'm definitely no physics major :D
 
i was looking at a thread about this last night on another website. they also use a pole to keep it up. the suction aloine would not hold it up as the bowl would just slip right back down.
 
ha ha thats nuts! The air bubbler must have been a tricky one to setup!
