Thoughts from those who lift

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Bought the jerky eating it. I was looking at those protein bars, they have the protein but lots of sugar alcohol in them and double the calories that I would get per protein from jerky. I am still using the protein shakes after workouts and on non-workout days around the same time. Also been eating two hardboiled eggs and some milk for breakfast so starting the day protein rich.

^ SOunds good, you eating the yolks too?

Anyone a dietitian? Would like to work with one, but do not want to pay for it. lol Money is a little tight with kid on the way.

I have been sticking to my plan and I am getting increased strength. I am pretty happy about it. I can not tell for sure but I know I am increasing muscle mass. I just need to work on my eating plan and and find a way to decrease fat at the same time.

Soon school will start up and the baby will be here at the same time. I have gained some weight over the summer since focusing more on lifting weights.

Starting in a few weeks with the start of school year here is the plan.

Everything the same for the afternoon workouts but morning will change

Morning
M-F
4 sets of 50 crunches on exercise ball
4 60 second planks, 30 second side planks each side
4 seated core stabilization
or
5 sets of 75 crunches on exercise ball
30 minutes treadmill interval workout or 30 minutes Endurance (switch to keep from getting bored)

Have to make adjustment because I can not do all the workout before work, lack the time.

Just remember -
High rep, low weight = tone
Low rep, high weight = mass
