thoughts on aliens?

Oh and another thing about the Dogon Tribe.. The guy who wrote the book about the Dogon tribe + Sirius B later admitted to have put them under pressure and made them say things they did not know a thing about.
That's a shame. I was always very interested in the dogon tribe thing. There was one thing about some cave paintings in Africa mapping out the Sirius region that scientists say we're tens of thousand of years old. I personally believe there is intelligent life. I don't think they have been here though. Have any of y'all seen the picture of that body they found in a cave in South America?

Will have to do some more digging but seems to be differences in opinion as to how they might have that knowledge besides star men. Very interesting to say the least.

I am utterly convinced that there are other life forms in the universe that are unrelated to that which exists on Earth.

I also subscribe to the idea that there is a possibility that there is life unrelated to that which exists on Earth in our very own Solar System.

Do I believe that humans have ever been contacted by alien life forms? Absolutely not.

NOTE: I did not bother to read this thread yet. lol

Gravity doesnt really go anywhere so I dont know about it traveling fast than light. Our current understanding of gravity is more of a warp of space-time than an object that physically moves so to say it escapes gravity is a misnomer. Besides, gravity has to be generated by mass, which is still limited to the speed of light, so its a moot point I suppose

We really don't know that much about gravity or why it only pulls. We know close to nothing regarding gravitational waves or how they work. It is very possible that we take gravity for granted. ..

I'm not totally convinced that all who claim homo sapiens kinship are of the same species.

I'm at work and my work computer doesn't have flash, so I can't watch that video.

I will say however, that EVERYTHING that isn't actually history on the History Channel must be taken with a grain of salt.

Getting to the point we need to watch our sodium intake.

I understand, and I think its important to keep an open mind. How we understand the universe now is clearly incomplete and in time some great mind or group may come a long with a better explaination of how things work that explains things. Having said that, Our current understanding of gravity (general relativity) has been tested in may ways time and time again, so we cant just throw out our understanding as it stands, we have to corroborate it against new ideas and they must jive, even if the new idea does replace our current understanding. I'm try to keep an open mind about new ideas but so few are usually well thought out nor do they withstand the test of time.
