Thoughts on if "plexyglass" is acrylic or polycarbonate

Going to look at it tonight. See how it checks out.

If it's good I need to rent a U-haul and get it in my garage! I could definitely use your help especially with plumbing. I've got a good buddy who does carpentry lined up already for a stand/canopy out of reclaimed old growth black walnut.

I wouldn't even begin building it until we buy a house. But IF it's acrylic it's a good investment and can sit in the garage until then.

Yeah, sounds good Joe. I'm about 30 min south of Portland.

So this stuff is legit. I'm going to go pay for it tomorrow and he's going to drop it off Thursday (he has a crane business...easy to move). They were actually used as dividers in an office and were removed because they wanted glass. Definitely acrylic and not polycarbonate.

The only (negligible) issue is that they each have 3 small holes about 4" from one end.

These things are huge...I brought my camera to snap some photos but was too enthralled to actually take any.

Yeah, that and my girlfriend is OK with me building a 12' long tank...!

At first glance the sheets are divided into thirds with the middle third being opaque and I was thinking, "damn I'm SOL" but it's just an adhesive that peels right off.
