Thoughts on other fish to add to 180g?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
dont get clown loaches, a decent group would out grow getting up to 16 inchs each, making ur tank tamporary.
I’m sorry but this is just not true. Give them 30 years and they won’t get to 16 inches. You’ll be lucky if they get to 12 inches each. RD. RD.

Hey guys, my 60Lx30Wx24H tank is up and running, So far I have 3 red spot sevrums, 3 sun catfish, and a Gold nugget pleco. All fish are juvenile right now. For sure I will be adding a Rafael cat, and a Featherfin squeaker.

Options I'm considering:

Silver dollars 5+
Blood parrots
Oscar
Chocolate cichlid
Geophagus
Ghost knife
Clown loaches (do they get too big?)
Lima Shovelnose (too big?)

My other thought was a Big school of tiger barbs or some other small fish, although the sun catfish may eat them. other thoughts?

Yesss, I was saying maybe after iam long gone

Lol thanks for the heads up, styl don't do any asians, go all south american!!! :D

They still won’t get to 16 inches even after you die. They basically have to be caught at that size and I doubt there are many that size left in the wild.

Oh my bad. And yes they typically will get 12 inches if they’re lucky. Some have been caught out of the wild at 16 inches though, fugupuff has stories of them reminding him of carp. Also, google “‘marge the clown loach” she was a beast and she was famous.

Lol cool, check out the forum I just posted

What forum?

I guess I can ditch the Sun cats when they become troublesome. For now they are ok since they are tiny. I had wanted a Pimelodus Blochii (4 line pim), but nobody has them.
