Thoughts on Red Tiger Motaguense cohabitation?

female RTM helps your chances for sure, and 7x2 is not a bad tank size. Rocksor has a very good point, all-female would be much much more likely to work out long term. I'd say give it a shot and just proceed with caution. My general mindset with mixing any ca cichlids especially if mixing sexes, is that any combination is going to be temporary, and fish will have to be moved around, hence the other tanks. Sometimes you find a good balance after a while, and even then it can change down the line. Always a balancing act and can get tiring. But also can be rewarding and fun tank to keep. Good luck if you try it!

Bit the bullet and here she is, tied for smallest in the tank with my true green terror (not the orange saum).
Looks like a gold saum, andiniacara rivulatus. Which is actually a true green terror.

I was under the impression that Andinoacara stalsbergi is the true green terror and rivilatus is the saum group.

If you go to Alf stalsbergs page he explains this situation.
All the saums, orange silver/white are andiniacara rivulatus, the original gt.
It's not really that important and you read lots of different versions. Knowing if you have stalsbergi or rivulatus is all that really matters.
The first fish to be labeled as a green terror was infact rivulatus.

Fair enough. Well, I have one of each either way.
