Thoughts on stocking?

With my angels I have Congo tetras. Good in that because the giant vallis plants goes all the way to and across the surface the Congo tetras swim middle to surface. I then have some pvc pipe floating in the plants and big bog wood so even the plecs are bottom, mid and surface!
I tend not to follow convention as I find Mother Nature doesn’t either.
Quick question about the angelfish and plecos
If they end up breeding, wouldn’t they be aggressive to the pictus? should I separate the angelfish/bristlenose pair from the tank?

Anything special about diet and water parameter needs
They’re carnivores, sometimes they’re stuck on live food, but I’ve never had that problem. I give mine krill, silversides, fresh tilapia, brine shrimp and bloodworms. I keep the water clean, but other than that I don’t worry about PH much. It’s better to throw the food so it splashes and then they’ll hit it right away. It takes them a bit to learn to eat off the bottom

Are they nocturnal and will I need a lid?
