Thoughts on the use of Stress Coat

Who uses stress coat? What does everybody think about using stress coat for water changes?
 
I used it when I was a n00b and thought I needed it. I haven't bought a bottle in a couple of years and see no reason to. Now I just move fish from tank to tank with a net if they are my own tanks. Outside fish get about 20 minutes of bag acclimatization with water changes. No problems so far except the occasional parasite or ich, which is not really a problem in quarantine.
 
I love stress coat its one of my favortie products, i now use prime because it treats more and is cheaper, having a big tank with big fish you gotta do alot of water changes so the stress coat would just go way to fast.
 
Switched to prime and haven't looked back
 
I love stress coat its just too damn expencive and prime treats sooooo much more than a bottle of stress coat or stress zyme, good product though.
 
i use prime for all of my wc

i have a bottle of stress coat which i use only if i touch the fish with my hand or my brush while i clean the tank (sometimes they attack me or the brush haha)

i think its great for replacing slimecoat

my bottle has lasted me a year and it is still 1/4 full haha
 
In the beginning I used it and then I switched to another product that API makes but less of it is needed at a time.
 
API tap water conditioner. If all you need to do is remove chlorine, why add other chemicals that aren't needed? My last 1 gallon jug cost me $23.99. Prime depends on chemicals to neutralize ammonia, but if your tank is cycled the bacteria in your filter already do that.

I agree, I just dechlorinate my water.
