Thoughts on the use of Stress Coat

API tap water conditioner. If all you need to do is remove chlorine, why add other chemicals that aren't needed? My last 1 gallon jug cost me $23.99. Prime depends on chemicals to neutralize ammonia, but if your tank is cycled the bacteria in your filter already do that.

I use stresscoat in my tanks w/ scale-less fish and rarely if ever have issues with bacterial infections ect.. I have had to switch to another product due to copper amounts in my local tap water. But I will always use stresscoat if I can. theoretically if I wanted to chop up an aloe plants and add it to my water I could do that instead of buy stresscoat. imo it is a good product.
