i had the same thing on my fire eel... i posted in the disease forum... but after i discovered it, it pass away very quickly.... about 3 days

They’re wild caught and they didn’t have any worms. Some might’ve had small anchor worms but I take those off before they come home. He’s all healed up right now and doesn’t have any new lumps right now. So I guess whatever it was has passed
