thoughts on this Cinder Block Stand

I trust your famillier with how some of your area freeways still look right?
This might work very well in the midwest but personally I wouldn't trust it in Cali.
Your call of course but I won't even put bookshelves up without earthquake brackets.

Although these towers of blocks are not connected to each other and are less stable, my guess is that 3000lbs will make them hard to move. but what do I know. I wouldn't do it cuz I would worry too much.

all of us are from the best place on earth, and I think the best place on earth doesn't allow tanks on block stands. The BIG ONE is due!

not too good with earthquakes, and they might look ugly, but they are extremely strong and stable

The freeways were mortered together as well as having re-bar reinforcement...They still pancaked.

I never though aboutt that living in the west coast = earthquacks. I would have never took that into consideration with my fish. But cinder blocks are strong.

i used live in the eastbay and i had a 10 gallon in the garage that i used cinder blocks as a stand and there was a small earthquake and i heard a crash and i walked in and it was shattered all over the floor so personally i wouldnt do it
