Second pair is better quality, would go with them over the first pair.

Better color and shape, the male also has a small kok which the other male doesn't have one.

Ok. And as far as the kok goes, the first picture was blurry so it's hard to tell and the first pair is 1/2 to 3/4 the size of the 2nd pair. Would it be possible for the 1st make to develop a larger kok.
