Proper repair would be to remove the glass panel with the chip and replace it.
I personally would only do that if it leaks or if it’s going in a room that could be significantly damaged by it failing.

Peace of mind is worth a lot, I personally would pass on it and keep looking for other deals or save for a new tank.
It's like others said, you have to evaluate your risk tolerance, I can't risk 200+ gallons of water bursting in my house.
If I was setting it up in my garage or an unfinished basement, I'd go for an ultra low price due to the damage and go for it.

If it were me in a new house with new floors I’d do a hard pass...new floors are worth more than $400 much more...I’d seek out a more sound tank
