Ok so currently I have no problems with ich or anything for that matter, so the big question is, is it worth setting up a UV?

In my experience no. I had a 25w uv on my 220 and it was just extra plumbing/money and a headache. Didnt notice any difference and its honestly a waste of money imo. A healthy fish will fight off ich easily. If its a high dollar fish id probably do it again but currently on my 220 its unplugged if that means anything
I will say I have a sump/pond cannister filter with built in 18W UV sterilizer on my tank and when it had an outbreak of ich the problem was corrected much more quickly with no return infections after the problem was treated compared to my other tank that got ich at the same time and went through 4 different attempts to eradicate the parasites over 9 weeks. The money it saved me on ich treatment for 600 gallons of water paid for the cannister filter/UV sterilizer
