amphilophus covers alot of fish, im assuming you only mean rd/md/midas or else you would be including flowerhorn as flowerhorns were made from trimac crosses originally wasnt they?-)

that's a good point. I do Have wc Midas and their Ampholophous Xbreed variants such as ZZ FHs and Trimacs and other Amphs.
Visually it is simply a Ampholophous dominant fish. A LFS Ampholophus

definitely an amph. IDK I'm no expert but I did google faders, RD's and midas. That's not looking like any faders that came up. It does look like about a dozen amph hybrids that did.

LFS RED DEVIL. A real nice and beefy one with good red because it is pied.
