When I heard of Steve's passing I couldn't believe it.
He was a wonderful guy and was great with animals. I learned so much from his shows.
His family are in my thoughts and my prayers.
Steve will be missed by many people and I'm sure the animals in the world.
RIP Steve Irwin :( :rip

When i heard this terrible news, it really hurt deep; it was quite unbelievable.
I watched Crocodile Hunter, and today when i returned to school for the new year, everyone was talking of how sad it was. I am truly sorry for this terrible tragedy. It is a huge loss to the world and the World's wildlife. May he Rest in Peace.

I really think you where a great guy Steve. Always loved watching your show. Thanks to your outgoing personallity and passion for animals you became and will continue to become an ambasador for crocs and wildlife in general. I think that beside educating a lot of people about crocs and nature in a fun way, you have also changed the way people think about crocodiles and other wildlife and with that, contributed to wildlife conservation. This is something wich will influence further generations, because they will be able to enjoy wildlife. I and my future children want to thank you for that.

My condolences go out to his family and friends. May he rest in piece.

We have lost a legend & the animals have lost a friend & protector. You will be remembered for all time. RIP Mr. Irwin.

Steve's greatest love was crocodiles, an animal many others hate. He worked his butt off to help people understand animals which were misunderstood. For this the world owes him it's gratitude. My deepest condolences go out to his wife Terri and his kids Bindi and Bob. I know they will grow up to be proud of there father and carry on his legacy of conservation. As Steve used to say: "Crocs rule!", I say to you all:
"Steve Irwin Rules Forever!"

Do you guys think Steve Irwin was a MFK? Or liked Monster Fishes?

Either way...He was great guy that really stood out...He had a lot of love for what he was doing as you can see from his shows and the way he talks to the animals and such LOL:) ...I never watched the shows TOO much...but when I did, I always enjoyed watching his shows because of his character.....May you Rest In Peace Steve Irwin...

This is a huge tragedy for all people that are interested in wildlife, or when i think about it, it's a tragedy for the whole world.

He was one of the things that kindled my love fore reptiles and other creepy crawlys and I’m very grateful fore that.

If there is an afterlife I don't think that he will rest in peace, he's spirit will be just as busy in death that he was in life.

You will be missed!!!

Best regards Michael
