I'm pretty (as in completely 100%) sure. It was an API freshwater master test kit. The nitrite test is one bottle. The test solution comes out blue. The test solution turned a slight purple shade that I and my old lady determined was about the .25ppm bar color (the first bar above 0ppm on the test kit). The test reads up to something like 5ppm (or thereabouts... I'm not at home to look at the kit right now). I tested ammonia (0ppm), nitrites (.25ppm), nitrates (5ppm) and pH (7.2).

P.S. Aaah, I see. I forgot the "." in front of the 25. .25ppm sounds about right.
