Through the glass? Really??

I had a Large Red Snake Head about 20 years ago in a 55g ( when they were legal). He got so big that when he would shimmy or bang the glass you could feel it across the room. I think he would have eventually broke the glass. He grew almost 18" in the 55 and we wound up putting him a 1000g tank at a local pet store. He grew to almost 3ft and was there for years. Of course now I would never place a fish that would grow that large in a 55g.

My friends old mangrove jack managed to crack the top corner of his aquarium before... that thing was a beast and would almost always smash prey straight into the glass... so although i wasn't there when it happened, i did see the results after and was not really too surprised it happened...

There's a RTC in my lfs with scars all down its body. Someone traded it in after it smashed through its tank going for a goldfish. Not a huge surprise there since their head is rock hard.

dam so no one else has had cichlids smash the glass, I knew that dam tank of mine was cursed lol.

I know what you mean about the feeling the glass shake indy, when that dovii was in his 3ftish tank the thing used to rock when he smashed it.
