About 20-30 years. My friend has a trio that are about that size and fat. He's had them for 29 years now.

picked up at. I work 6 days a week and can't really make time to pick it up other than sunday. Let me know where, airport wise, it would go and I'll see if I can make it possible. The $$$ isn't the issue its getting there on time and not making the fish wait in a terminal all day.

I've never quite understood that as well. People willingly pay $700 for a fish yet they dont want to go pick it up at the airport, which is a better ship method and shorter one too. Not to mention less handling. Yet they prefer FedEx which costs an arm and a leg and the fish box gets thrown around and despite the many horror stories from other members of how the fish arrives, they still want this option only becuase it's gets to their door and they don't have to drive.


I hope it all works out for you and your family. Hate to see you leave the hobby but you gotta do what you gotta do.
