Got our order from Diver Tom today.
Everything came in looking good except one wrasse that died. The box was packed pretty standard and the heat packs kept the temperature in there good when I opened it.
The Queen Angel we ordered was a small and it came in as a really small juvenile, like an inch. But it ate some mysis already today.
The small Atlantic Blue tangs are about 2-2.5 inches each and all came in looking good and eating mysis today.
We also got an assortment of wrasses. Clown, Neon, Bluehead, and another one I don't remember. They all look pretty good, but none ate today.
Other things we got were a Harlequin bass, pgymy angel(also very very small, like 1" tops), and seahorses.
I will start on the seahorses with a disclaimer. The prices from Diver Tom are cheap, but I don't think that wild seahorses should be purchased as most do not eat and will die in your tank. Pay the extra money and get tank raised. My boss did not listen to my repeated attempts to not buy them, so I am not condoning the store having them.
Anyways, the seahorses we got came in looking good. One male came pregnant and was giving birth in the acclimation bucket!!! We now are going to try to raise some of the hundreds of babies he had. We weren't really prepared for this occurence and most likely won't be able to supply the proper food(live artemia) in time.
We got some blue/green ricordea polyps and every one came in with at least two mouths, so there will be many more than we ordered soon.
All and all I would say that diver tom has some pretty good caribbean products and great prices and would recommend him to others. Just remember that everything is going to come in pretty small.
