A year and a half max. It's a good size for a very small ray, but when it gets over 7" it will be too small. Have you already got the tank? If not lose some of the height and add another foot to the length. That will be a lot better for the ray.

already got it, and a year and 1/2 might not be good...I was hoping by the time he needed an upgrade I would have a job and save up some money for it.
