It went from like 3 inches to about 8 with in weeks. But it has slowed down since then. But i have only had him for about 3 months and he is pushing about 10 to 12 inches now

That's an absurdly quick growth rate for a jur.

You must be very lucky. I've tried my hand at them a dozen times and my rates were 3x-4x slower. Never was able to raise one to beyond 12".
