I just got this fish and he as been fine till now. His head as always been dark but just now its pale and his breathing is real hard

Fish size, tank size, ammonia/nitrite/nitrate, tankmates, temperature, amount of time in tank, and has anything changed recently?

Hes close to 4in and in a 10gal all levels are good, temps at 80 and been in there close to a month and has no tank mates

all levels are good
what do you mean? My opinion (and the fishes) may differ from yours.

Also, what is it eating?

Ammonia/nitrite/nitrate are all good. Right now hes eating guppies

can you be a bit more specific?

Well I just checked and the ammoia a little high mite be why he is breathing so hard but what do you think about the color change or should I worry??

Well, I would be worried as hell just having a tig in a 10 LOL...
There is a good possibility that the ammonia is stressing the fish and causing the color change.
