i got a tig hes about 4inch and he always stays with his nose poked out the water is there something i should worry about or is this something normal for little tigs any help would help thanks
Some tig do that. Some stays vertical, against the tank wall on the first few days. Once it settles in, it will stay on the bottom. Look on the bright side, you can handfeed it.
When aeration is poor cats, "pant" and then shallow breathing then die... AT the bottom. They do not seek aeration at the top of the tank. When the power goes out, oscars breathe out the top, cats are all dead on the bottom.. (My first cat ate the airstones, airlines fell out, and ALL cats were dead inc, channels, corys, and pims, and of course the rtc. Some cats like lima like to "stand" vertically along tubing or wood or glass. sound like your tig felt threatened by the dat and is now ok. Id love to know if he does that again.
