My tiger fish has stopped eating feeders and will only eat carnivore pellets....anyone have any thoughts here. He is only around 7inches long right now, just a week ago he would take a feeder to bits in a second, now he hardly even notices them when they get dropped in the tank....any thoughts?

My long term goal certainly is to get him eating pellets and such, but I still want him to keep his instinct and to desire feeders when they are placed into the tank...he is currently living with 2 armatus and 1 RTC and some others...
um maybe hes trying to tell you somthing... what kind of fish is it? tiger fish could mean alot of fish. tiger oscar? some type of datnoid? what? and feeding feeders from petstores is not a healthy deal for the fish as they can carry sickness and bring it to your tank. now if these are home grown feeders bred by you then that a diff story.
still not enough time to make sure the fish dont have sickness. alot say to keep petstore feeders in a hospial tank for up to a week to a week and a half.
I guess if you want him on feeders instead of pellets then stop feeding him pellets. He'll get hungry enough to eat a feeder again.
