thanks all
i'm going to pickup the ray tomorrow

wow you must like this tiger alot if you are going to get rid of all your other rays just for 1 tiger

i think this tiger will have trouble feeding with a few motoro in the tank

but still good luck it a nice looking ray :D

i have tiger with motoros right now rays are small but there are no problems as of now....... for tiger rays 8x4 is not big enough for a full grown one consider round ponds when you go to build a pond atleast 8' diameter

Your pond should be big enough for an adult tiger. In the mean time, the 79" x 40" x 26" tank will be large enough for a while.

I agree with others who suggested the tiger may not be comfortable with the motoros when it comes to feeding. I've imported a few tigers and have found that a divider in the tank allowing the tiger to be by himself makes getting them to feed and thrive much easier. Once the tiger is eating well and gaining weight, then try removing the divider.
