I'm setting up a 120g aquarium (4×2×2) and wanted to get some for my tank. Was going to stock with my red texas cichlid, some silver dollars and Tiger loaches. Everything I've read about them says they are really aggressive. Anyone personally had some?

I have seen them be agressive towards other loaches and corries but not to other fish as cichlids etc. Just what I have experienced..
Had mine with Oscars, electric blue acaras, severums, flagtail and never a problem

Awesome. Thanks for the response. I like clowns, but not only do they get massive but they aren't near as cute when full grown.

My Berdmorei loach which is part of the tiger family happily lives with my clowns, zebra and polka dot loaches and she has never been a problem with them either.
I think she thinks she is a clown as she grew up with them

On a different tank I had three together and as a team they became nasty to the other loaches so I had to seperate them.
But as I said, not to the other fishes

Mine is totally the opposite. Straight up ***! It has its own spot and will chase my geos, tiger barbs and other loaches that gets to close for its comfort. To this day it still fights constantly with the 3 yasuhikotakia sp. beautiful loach indeed but very nasty. No other fish dares go close cause it'll launch an attack quickly.

Do you only have 1?

Yes I only have 1. I thought about getting more but this one is such an **** that I decided not to get anymore.
