the pike will grow much faster in those warm waters ...
and as for the fish being in lakes around your house at those temps ... just because the surface temp is that warm, doesnt mean that the fish stays there. and even if the fish does spend some time in the warmer water, i would guess that 70+ % of the time, its deep enough to stay much cooler.

if you get it anyhow, i'd give it 3 weeks to pick off everything under 6", and another month or two to finish off the gar. the others may last upto 5 months top
 
are you guys really hobbist because you guys have no idea what your talking about but its your money to lose so good luck i've had both still have my tigers and spotted but i know for a fact muskie or pike don't grow as fast as some of the meaner fish and there more timid when it comes to hunting but like i said your money you guys need to experice before you can give advise don't just guess you make an ass out of your self

The metabolism of a fish is increased in warmer water. They may not grow as fast as some other fish, but it will grow faster in the wild. Also, to the OP, what are you going to do with the fish when it gets too big to house?
