Tiger oscar eggs

Can anyone give me some info on how long they take to hatch? How big are the fry, how many fry per batch roughly.

Theres 200 or more eggs in my tank

Eggs hatch within 2-3 days..........Steady temperature of 78-82 degrees.......I like to siphon the fry into a seperate tank right when they hatch

I don't know how true it is but I have heard that fertile Oscars are hard to come by. If you do succeed don't fear over feeding them unless you go to an extreme. We were lucky enough to have ours spawn and the first time we figure my wife under fed them. The fry just kept disappearing they we eating each other. The second time we really poured the food to them and raised about 150 and sold them to a wholesaler. They are just great when we put our hand in the water you could easly scoop out handfuls of them. If they are in their own tank now let the parenis try and raise them next time. The guy may have said breeding pair because they laid eggs but 2 females will spawn together too. Good luck and keep trying they spawned once they should again.
