Tiger Oscar may have hole in head need help. ASAP

Change about 15% every week. And fish range from 3" to 7"
 
I would do larger water changes.
 
Is a 20% water change or should I do or like 30% or 40%?
 
The tank is a 55??? You are overstocked. I would suggest 40-50% water changes weekly. And get a bigger tank before you oscar gets too big.
 
I know that I'm overstocked and need to know if a 45 gallon would help split up the fish into the two tanks. And if I would still be overstocked. And what is the min. size tank for a oscar. Is a 55 okay or not enough?
