Gruff Master - Thanks for the advice. As you can tell I am a novice and yes my fish are only 2-3 inches in size. Looks like the thing to do is leave the Severums in this aquarium and get a larger size for the Oscars. Any suggestions on size for 5 Oscars?

No problem. Five adult Oscars will require a lot of space and filtration. You also have to consider how they will interact as adults or if pairs form. You're looking in the high 200+ range, maybe larger. Oscars can grow to over 12". So you have to take in the amount of space taken and waste produced of five 12" Oscars.
OP I posted this picture a couple weeks ago, here's an idea of what you're getting yourself into with oscars!
I forgot to mention that even if you decide to get a tank just for the Oscars, the two Severums will still need something bigger than a 30 as adults.
