Tiger oscars

I got 2 tiger oscars. And they r rlly messy eaters. Could i put in some ghost shrimp or something to clean it up? or would the shrimp be the next meal. The oscars only 3".
 
Anything i could put in there to scavnge around and eat the left overs. I got 2 snails but i figured that the ghost shrimp would be small enough that the oscars wldnt notice them.
 
u could get some loaches
 
or catfish depends how big ure tank
 
i think snails would be your best choice but i never kept them together.
The Oscars will probably find them after a while
 
Would a crayfish work?? I feed wit freeze dried krill. And maybe they would clean it up for me. And my oscars are too small to eat they only 3" like i said and if i get decent sized crayfish it might be ok.
 
I got snails now. And they dont clean the krill up for s#%*. They eat the alge but swerve around the krill.
 
A bigger filter will work just as good. And will not be eaten by the oscar.
