Half true. When you first get a tiger ray, it'll be "shy" and will definitely be outcompeted by a motoro for food. Best to keep them seperate until they are acclimated, then your tigers will be feeding more agressively and will be able to keep up with motoros.

LOL, i should reword that. In the beginning Im almost certain your motoros will steal all the food. But once they're acclimated, they'll be able to keep up with the motoros.

LoL! My tigers have never been a been able to keep up with my Motoros (when I had my male/female) when it comes to eating. They simply got overrun by the motoros. I dont think it had anything to do with being shy even after being acclimated, they just couldnt get to the food fast enough. I only have tigers now and THEY out compete each other for food....a feeding frenzy. Its funny to watch. They are awesome!!

got the 14inch tiger on sunday and shes in there with 4 other motoros all about the same size and shes doin great and holdin her own and makin sure she gets her food.im actually surprised at how unshy she is.maybe i got a rare one.
