Tiger ray

Not much info out there, the stickies here are good and the book Freshwater Stingrays by Richard Ross. I currently keep a tiger and have had multiple flowers so feel free to PM me for info. I would not recommend anyone starting with Tigers as things can go bad really quick. It can be a first time ray but you have to design your system for them and keep them solo until they get settled in. Biggest problem is the source of the tigers. If you can get one fresh from the river, say within a week of being caught you have better chances of survival. Most tigers you find here are imported then kept at a wholesaler who really does not care if it eats or is healthy, then they get passed on through a hobbyist. So the tigers you got were probably sick and starved so you were doomed from day one.

Thanks a lot for the info. this is week 2 of lice treatment. only one left and she is doing fine and eating 3 or 4 night crawlers twice a day. I'm gonna try some ghost shrimp also.
