yea i was under the impression that they had to be terrestrial. thats really cool they can be kept like newts especially because they are larger and more colorful.

if not provided land will they just stay in the "tadpole" stage like axolotyls? neoteny(SP?) intrigues me. i own an amphiuma.

thanks. shes creepy. i like her little feet she tries to use. eats like a beast. my setup would look sick with your tigers but im not going to ditch her. i dont use any filtration. just lights, plants, and pond snails/ apple snails
